5 killed in road mishaps

Jammu, Feb 21 (PTI) Five persons were killed and 19others injured in separate road mishaps in Reasi and Kathuadistricts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Three persons were killed and 19 others injured when amini bus in which they were travelling skidded off the roadand rolled down into a deep gorge at Tanda Morh, 55-kms fromhere, in Reasi district last evening, police said.

In another mishap at Jammu-Pathankote nationalhighway, one person died after being hit by a truck atLakhanpur while another person was killed by a car at BarwalMorh in Kathua district last night, they said.

The bodies have been handed over to the families afterpostmortem and cases have been registered by the police. PTIAB HMI
