Teenager arrested for beating father

Coimbatore, Feb 19 (PTI): A teenager was arrested today atPodanur on the outskirts of the city for beating up hisfather, who was reportedly urging him to find a job to supportthe family.

Police said the 16-year old boy was an eighth standarddropout. His father, a coolie, used to scold him daily and askhim to find a job to support their family.

Irked by the frequent advice, the boy returned home lastnight and beat up his father, resulting in minor injuries tothe man, they said
