Obama coaches daughter Sasha's basketball team while she goes skiing

New York, Feb 20 (ANI): US President Barack Obama on Saturday took over as the coach of his younger daughter's basketball team even though she was not there.

Obama helped coach 9-year-old Sasha's team because the usual parent who runs the team was unable to attend, reports the New York Daily News.

Sasha and her older sister, Malia, are on a ski holiday in Vail, Colorado, this weekend with their mother Michelle.

No White House journalists were inside and the results of the game, played at a community center in Maryland, are unknown.

Basketball is by far Obama's favorite sport and he's attended several college and NBA games since becoming the President and frequently shoots hoops at his White House court. (ANI)
