Missing parents of new-born baby found

Vadodara, Feb 19 (PTI) A seven-day-old baby boy was todayhanded over to his parents, who had abandoned him atthe S S G hospital here, officials said.

After giving birth to the child on February 11, MinaNayak and her husband Alsingh Nayak ran away from the hospitalabandoning him.

The hospital informed the Kisanwadi police who tracedthe couple from Karoli Ravna village of Kaalol taluka inneighbouring Panchmahal district.

They told police that they had abandoned the childbecause they felt the child would not survive, because of hisfragile health.
