Man released after wife found alive
Bulandshahr, Feb 19 (PTI) A youth arrested last monthon charges of killing his wife was released today after thewoman was found alive last evening at a nearby village.
Priyanka, who had married Jagan six years ago, wentmissing on January 9.
Jagan was arrested on January 14 following a complaintby Priyanka''s mother Bijja Devi, SHO Salempur DK Sharma said.
Devi had identified a burnt female corpse found in anearby village as her daughter which led te police to arrestJagan, SHO said.
Police is now interrogating Bijja Devi and has sentthe corpse to Lucknow for a DNA identification test.
