Govt offices in Ghaziabad function on Sunday due to CM''s visit

Ghaziabad, Feb 20 (PTI) All government offices hereremained opened today, despite being a Sunday, in the wake ofthe visit of Chief Minister Mayawati to the district.

District Magistrate Hredesh Kumar said all governmentoffices in the district were functioning today due to chiefminister''s scheduled visit to Ghaziabad and Meerut districtsto review the implementation of development works in theregions.

The offices remained open today, even though it was aSunday, so that any information required by the chief ministercould be made available to her and she could inspect the worksbeing carried out in the district, he said.
