Car catches fire in Noida

Noida, Feb 19 (PTI) A car today caught fire in Noidabut no one was injured in the incident, police said.

The owner of the car, who was driving it, managed tocome out of it in time.

"I was coming to sector- 18 in Noida in my 2003 modelHonda City car when it suddenly caught fire," car owner SunilWhig said.

Prima facie it seemed that the vehicle caught fire dueto a short circuit in the engine, a police official said.

We took the car into our custody for further probe, hesaid. After reaching the spot, police doused the fire withwater.
