2 held for kidnap of a boy from UP

New Delhi, Feb 19 (PTI) The police today arrested twopersons here for allegedly kidnapping a 3-year-old boy fromhis home Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Dileep, a resident of Faridabad, and Rajesh Sharma,who hails from Samastipur district in Bihar, were arrestedfrom Kirti Nagar locality of West Delhi on the charge ofabducting Md Kaif from his home in Gautam Buddh Nagar, thepolice said adding they had abducted the boy to sell him tosomeone.

Based on a tipoff, a trap was laid Rajesh was apprehendedand he admitted that he, along with Dileep, had kidnapped theboy from Surajpur, V Renganathan, Deputy Commissioner ofPolice, West, said.

He said the boy was recovered from the kidnappers''possession.

THe boy has been handed over to his mother.
