IAS association seeks public support for collector''s release
Bhubaneswar, Feb 18 (PTI) Voicing concern over theabduction of Malkangiri district Collector R V Krishna byMaoists, Orissa IAS officers Association today urged the stategovernment, civil societies and public to take all possiblesteps for safe and early release of the young officer.
The association in an urgent meeting here expressedconcern over the incident. A four-member delegation led byassociation secretary U P Singh, met chief secretary B KPatanik and home secretary U N Behera.
While lauding the pro-poor activities of Krishna, theassociation pointed out how the developmental works hadprogressed in Maoist hotbed of Malkangiri.
The association also praised Krishna''s works duringKandhamal violence.
