Central Delhi roads to be closed for marathon on Sunday

New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Several roads in central Delhiwill be closed for a few hours on Sunday due to the MawanaSugars Indian Open Marathon, the traffic police said today.

No traffic will be allowed to move on route of themarathon event from all its adjoining intersection/points,they said.

Roads like Rajpath from India Gate upto Vijay Chowk,Rafi Marg from Sunehri Masjid upto Sansad Marg, ParliamentStreet, Ashoka Road, Janpath from Maulana Azad Road crossingupto Rajinder Prasad Road and Janpath from Tolstoy Marg uptoRajiv Chowk will be restricted for traffic from 7.15 am to11.30 am.

Outer Circle Rajiv Chowk circle from Barakhamba toSansad Marg (clockwise), Inner Circle Rajiv Chowk, from MandiHouse to Barakhamba will be restricted for traffic.
