Three killed in road mishap in Gandhinagar district
Ahmedabad, Feb 18 (PTI) Three persons were killed andfive others were injured when a state transport bus collidedwith an autorickshaw in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar districttoday, police said.
The incident took place near Aluva village where thespeeding state transport bus ran into the oncoming rickshaw.
One person died on the spot, while two others succumbedto injuries at Gandhinagar civil hospital.
The injured are being treated at the civil hospital,police said.
The deceased have been identified as Kanji Patel, RanchodPatel and Dashrat Puri, all residents of Ajrapura village ofMansa taluka of Gandhinagar.
A case has been registered against the driver of thestate transport bus who fled from the spot and is stillabsconding, police said.
