Astaro unveils three IT security products

New Delhi, Feb 18: One of the leading Unified Threat Management providers in India, Astaro Corporation, has introduced three new IT security solutions, including Astaro Application Control, Astaro Log Management and Astaro Endpoint Security.

Astaro claimed that these new technologies will offer the next generation of Unified Threat Management solutions by providing IT security that extends beyond the perimeter, protects against modern threats and improves administrators" visibility into network operations.

Astaro Application Control adds Next Generation Firewall capabilities that help IT administrators gain visibility into internet usage, block unwanted applications like Facebook or Ultrasurf and prioritise Internet bandwidth usage. It can limit the use of productivity draining applications while allowing access to applications that are necessary for employees to fulfill their responsibilities.

Astaro Log Management allows Astaro Security Gateway users to centrally store and analyse log data from all systems and applications.

Astaro Endpoint Security adds Data Leakage Prevention that enables usage control of USB ports, DVD drives and other peripheral devices. It also includes comprehensive reporting features which allow IT administrators to analyze device usage and track the location of each machine in case of theft or loss.
