Revenue employee arrested for taking bribe of Rs. 7500
Patna, Feb 18 (PTI) Vigilance sleuths today arrested arevenue employee Vijay Kumar for taking a bribe of Rs. 7500from Daudnagar locality in Bihar''s Aurangabad district, anofficial release said.
Acting on the complaint of one Madhusudan Yadav, aVigilance team headed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) Amritendra Shekhar Thakur laid a trap and caught Kumarred handed while he was accepting the graft at his home, therelease said.
The accused was being brought to the state capital forinterrogation and consequent to that he will be producedbefore a special court, it said.
Yadav, in a complaint to the Vigilance investigationbureau, had alleged that Kumar - a revenue employee posted atObra block - had demanded a bribe of Rs. 7500 in lieu ofgiving him land receipt.
