Munda likely to resign as MP in a fortnight
Jamshedpur, Feb 17 (PTI) Jharkhand Chief MinisterArjun Munda was likely to resign from his Jamshedpur Lok Sabhaseat within a fortnight, BJP sources here said.
Munda, a senior BJP leader, will meet prominent partyleaders before resigning. However, the date for the meetingwas not not yet finalised, the sources said.
Munda won Kharswan Assembly by-election by over 17,000votes defeating Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik)candidate Dasrath Gagrai.
Before the by-poll, he represented Kharswan thrice onthe trot since 1995. He had resigned from the Kharswan seatafter winning the last Lok Sabha election from Jamshedpur. PTIBS
