Man pretends to be customer, drives away with Audi

Ahmedabad, Feb 18 (PTI) A middle-aged man who pretendedto be a customer at a car showroom later drove away with aAudi Q7 valued at nearly Rs 80 lakh here today, police said.

"The car theft took place when a man who identifiedhimself as Bhavesh Kabra visited the showroom and later wentout saying he wanted a test drive with an Audi car," theysaid.

"After managing to give slip to the company official whowas accompanying him midway, the man managed to speed awaywith the vehicle," police said.

A case has been registered and investigations areunderway.

A sketch of the impostor has also been released, theysaid.
