L K Advani regrets hurting Sonia Gandhi

According to reports, Mr Advani said that he regretted his comments that hurt Ms. Gandhi. However, he said that it would have been better if she could have earlier clarified the issue surrounding black money being stashed in foreign banks.
Mr Advani had alleged that Sonia Gandhi and her late husband, Rajiv Gandhi, had foreign bank accounts.
According to reports, the Congress president wrote back to the BJP leader saying that neither she nor any member of her family has an account in any foreign bank and that she is hurt by the baseless allegations.
Probably Nitin Gadkari, who had previously launched scathing personal attacks against members of his rival political party on several occasion, could take a lesson out of Mr Advani's book and learn to behave in a manner befitting the president of a national party.
