British civil nuclear power delegation to visit India
Mumbai, Feb 17 (PTI) A civil nuclear power tradedelegation of eight leading UK-based companies, coordinated bythe UK Nuclear Industry Association (NIA), will be visitingIndia next week.
The delegation will be led by UK Business Ambassador LadyBarbara Judge, Director and Former Chairman of the UK AtomicEnergy Authority and a member of the UK Nuclear DevelopmentForum, said a spokesperson of British Deputy High Commission.
NIA is a trade association and representative body ofUK''s civil nuclear industry.
As a part of the visit, there will be a seminar in Mumbaion "Civil Nuclear Power: Opportunities for UK-IndiaCollaborations" on February 22.
The half-a-day seminar will also explore the possibilityof business partnerships.
Indian companies and organisations in the civil nuclearsector ranging from design consultancy, engineering, projectmanagement and training, will be attending the seminar.
