19-year-old girl gangraped in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Feb 17 (PTI) A 19-year-old girl was allegedlygangraped by nine people in Rajasthan''s Sikar district, policesaid here today.
In an FIR lodged with the Ajitgarh police station onFebruary 7, the girl had alleged she was gangraped on February5 by nine people at her house in Khatkat village.
All the nine accused were arrested. However, her medicalreport did not confirm rape, police said.
Taking suo motu cognisance of the matter, Rajasthan HomeMinister Shanti Dhariwal today told the state Assembly thatthe woman''s DNA test will be conducted to ascertain theauthenticity of her claim.
