Strong velocity winds continue to lash HP
Shimla, Feb 16 (PTI) Strong velocity winds accompanied byrain and sleet continued to lash Himachal Pradesh for theconsecutive sixth day today.
The state capital Shimla and its surrounding areasremained engulfed by thick fog, hampering vehicular traffic.
The city recorded minimum 2.5 deg C and maximum 7.8 degC. Tribal areas of Lahaul and Pangi and Rohtang Pass receivedheavy snowfall, while it was moderate snowfall in SolangNallah and Mari.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district recorded 50-70 cm ofsnow, while Rohtang Pass was covered under 300 cm thick layerof snow.
The MeT department forecast more rains or snow in thenext two days.
