Naga Hospital receives ISO certificate

Kohima, Feb 16 (PTI)Naga Hospital Authority Kohima(NHAK), an autonomous state hospital under the governmentsector, has been accorded ISO 9001-2008 certification for itsquality heath care infrastructure and services.

In this regard a formal ceremony was held here at thehospital complex with state Health and Family Welfare ministerKuzholuzo Nienu as the chief guest.

Stating that the NHAK is the only hospital in Nagaland toreceive ISO certification, the minister congratulated itsstaff for the achievement. He called upon the management,doctors and paramedics to serve the people with greaterdedication and make the health care delivery system affordablefor all sections of the society.

The minister particularly asked the doctors to spend moretime with the patients for proper education and counselingwithout any discrimination.
