Manmohan Singh defends his actions as PM
New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI) Defending his actions, PrimeMinister Manmohan Singh today said if seven out of tendecisions taken by him turned out to be right, it would beconsidered a job well done by corporate standards.
"I think you have to take a decision at that time. Ofall the decisions that I take if seven out of ten turn out tobe correct, the share-holders of a normal corporation will saya job well done," Singh said in reply to a question on whetherhe regretted not going for auction in the 2G spectrumallocation.
The Prime Minister was was speaking at an interactionwith editors here.
Further defending his decisions in the recent past, hesaid we are living in a world of uncertainty where there is agap between our expectations and the reality that emergessubsequently.
Later, reacting to the Prime Minister''s remarks, BJPPresident Nitin Gadkari said Singh had fared badly as PM andif the passing marks in an examination are 33 per cent, hedeserved less than that.
