Engineering student found dead on rail track

Ghaziabad, Feb 16 (PTI) An engineering student wasfound dead under mysterious circumstances on a rail track inSahibabad here, police said today.

26-year-old Abhishek, a student of an engineeringinstitute here, was believed to have fallen from a runningtrain and was found dead yesterday, Indirapuram SHO RajeshDwivedi said.

The post mortem report stated accident as the causefor the death, he said adding the bereaved family, however,suspected foul play.

The father of the student, a resident of Vasundharalocality, had filed an FIR and police were investigating theincident, the SHO said.
