Corruption in judiciary, any walk of life cause for concern:PM
New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singhtoday expressed concern over corruption in the judiciary andthe legislature and stressed the need to get rid of it.
"With regard to corruption in judiciary, corruption inany walk of life, whether it is judiciary, executive,legislature, should be a matter of concern to all thinkingpeople in our country," Singh said at an interaction witheditors of the electronic media here.
"...Therefore, I am not second to anyone in saying thatif there is corruption, whether it is in judiciary or inexecutive or in other walks of life, we must get rid of it,"the Prime Minister said.
His remarks came in response to a question on allegationsof corruption against former Chief Justice of India K GBalakrishnan who now heads the NHRC.
