The PM started the meeting by praising the media's effort in bringing the scams in to the public space. Dr Manmohan Singh also assured that all the wrong-doers will be brought to book irrespective of their position. He also said that he was saddened by the phrase “scam-driven country" and said that these scams are “weakening the set confidence of the people of India".
