Pool car carrying children catches fire, none injured

Bolpur(WB), Feb 16 (PTI) A pool car carrying schoolchildren suddenly caught fire here in Birbhum district but allthe children escaped unhurt, police sources said.

Six students of a private school at Makrampur were comingfor their examination from Bhedia in neighbouring Burdwandistrict when the car caught on the outskirts of Bolpur town,the sources said adding all the children escaped unhurt.

Some local people noticed fire in the car and immediatelyinformed the driver. The driver stopped the car and childrencame out the car unhurt but the car was reduced to ashes, theysaid.

The Inspector-in-Charge of Bolpur police station said"our officers went there. It is yet to be investigated how thecar caught fire." PTI COR
