"No issue with PM", says VS

Kollam (Ker), Feb 16 (PTI) Kerala Chief Minister V SAchuthanandan has put a lid on the controversy over allegedneglect of Kerala during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh''s visitto the state stating that all issues have been resolved withSingh calling him over phone and expressing regret.

"I have no issue with the Prime Minister. Everything hasbeen resolved with Prime Minister calling up. Our frienship isintact," Achuthanandan told reporters on the sidelines of afunction at Kundara near here.

He said the Prime Minister had told him that problems werethe result of confusion created by some of his colleagues andofficials.

The Left Front in the Kerala had alleged that the ChiefMinister and the state government had been slighted by notaccording due prominence to them at public engagements ofSingh during his visit to the state last week.

Two days back, the state assembly adopted a resolutionvoicing protest over the matter, with the Congress-led UDFopposition absenting from the House.

In the same evening, Manmohan Singh called Achuthananandanto express regret over the matter.
