NIA files chargesheet against UNLF chief
Guwahati, Feb 15 (PTI) The National InvestigatingAgency (NIA) today filed chargesheets against arrested UnitedNational Liberation Front (UNLF) chief and 18 others in aspecial court.
The NIA filed chargesheets against R K Meghen aliasSaniyama and 18 others belonging to the insurgent outfit basedin Manipur.
While Meghen was arrested in 2009 in Bihar the otherswere arrested since them in various raids conducted in thecity.
NIA sources said the chargesheets were filed againstthe ultra for their involvement in heinous crimes includingwaging war against the country and extortion.
