Cash looted from petrol pumps

Balasore(Orissa) Feb 16 (PTI) Over rupees three lakhwere looted from three petrol pumps on the NationalHighway number five in Balasore district today.

According to police, armed gangs looted Rs 3,76,000from three petrol pumps situated near NH-5 in Balasoredistrict between 1.45 am to 3am today.

At gun point, the gang comprising six to sevenmembers managed to loot cash from the counter.

While two petrol pumps are under Simulia policestation, the third is under Soro police station.

Sub-Divisional Police Officer(SDPO) Balasoresadar Kailash Chandra Parida said �preliminary investigationsuggests that a single gang has committed the crime from andtheir modus operandi is same." PTI COR
