''bugged'' passengers detain train
Coimbatore, Feb 15 (PTI): Unable to bear the bite of bugs,about 60 passengers of an A/C coach of Jammu Tavi Expressdetained the train here for nearly two hours and continued thejourney in a new compartment early this morning.
Railway sources said passengers of a three-tier A/C Coachof the express coming from Mangalore, complained about thepresence of large number of bugs in the compartment, but to noavail.
When the train arrived here and was about to depart around1.30 AM, nearly 60 passengers of the coach pulled the chainand sat on the platform refusing to allow the train to move,they said.
At around 3.00 AM railway authorities finally changed thecoach by attaching another one detached from the RajadhaniExpress. The train left around 3.15 AM, the sources said. PTINVM APR
