AP Governor is against separate Telangana demand: TRS

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (PTI) Alleging that Andhra PradeshGovernor E S L Narasimhan is against separate Telanganademand, TRS tonight said it will protest and walk out duringhis speech to the State Assembly tomorrow.

"The Governor is anti-Telangana. He insulted Telanganaand the movement several times. We will protest, disrupt andwalk out when he addresses the Assembly tomorrow," senior TRSMLA T Harish Rao told reporters late tonight after a meetingof the TRS legislature party.

Claiming that Telangana has been "cheated" ever sinceAndhra Pradesh was formed 56 years ago, he said the region isnot going to benefit in any way during the Budget session ofAndhra Pradesh Assembly that starts here tomorrow.

Observing that Telangana government employees andothers are starting a non-cooperation agitation from tomorrowon the statehood issue, Rao said the MLAs of ruling Congress,main Opposition TDP and even Ministers should refuse tocooperate in running the Assembly.
