AP Governor, CM wish Muslims on Milad-un-Nabi eve

Hyderabad, Feb 15 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Governor E S LNarasimhan and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy extendedtheir greetings and best wishes to Muslims on the eve ofMilad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Mohammed.

"The Prophet''s life was a shining example of hispreaching. His emphasis on peace, equality and amity has auniversal appeal," the Governor said in his message.

"I urge one and all to cultivate and foster the spirit oflove, compassion, brotherhood and mutual fellowship whichconstitute the essential message of Prophet Mohammed,"Narasimhan added.

The Chief Minister said Prophet Mohammed''s message ofuniversal peace, compassion, tolerance and service to humanitywas very much significant and relevant even today.

Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu also extendedhis greetings to Muslims on the occasion.
