Rains in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Feb 15 (PTI) Overnight rains lashed parts ofRajasthan where Bharatpur received maximum rainfall of 24.4mm, Met officials said today.
Ajmer received 21.9 mm rainfall while Jaipur recorded17.8 mm rainfall, followed by Pilani and Jodhpur at 10.2 mmeach. Sikar, Jalore, Barmer, Vanasthali, Churu recorded 9 mm,6.4 mm, 5.6 mm, 4.8mm and 2 mm of rainfall, respectively.
Meanwhile, parts of the desert state recorded nighttemperatures in the range of 10.8 deg C and 17.5 deg C.
The showers brought down day temperatures but themercury is likely to rise after the Western disturbance ebbsaway, they said.
Light rains are expected at isolated places in thestate during that period.
