Maoists lynch woman
Garwha (Jharkhand), Feb 14 (PTI) A woman, who wastaken away by Maoists on Saturday to Bihar''s Rohtas from herPachadumar village in Garhwa district of Jharkhand, died afterbeing beaten up severely by the rebels, the police said heretoday.
Ramdevi Paswan, who used to sell rice beer for alivelihood, was picked up by a group of Maoists and later lefther alone near her village, the sources said.
The villagers found her body this morning and informedthe police.
The police quoted the villagers as saying that theMaoists had suspected her of ''poisoning'' one of their cadreswhile giving rice bear to him some time ago.
