Four students drown in Pimpalgaon Dam

Pune, Feb 15 (PTI) Four engineering students, who wentfor a picnic to the Pimpalgaon Joga Dam near here, drowned inthe reservoir, police said today.

The incident took place near Otur village yesterday whenthe students from Sharadchandra Pawar College of Engineering(SPCOE), slipped into the waters.

Their bodies were fished out from the reservoir thismorning with the help of National Disaster Management Unit ofTalegaon, said Rohidas Chikte, Inspector from Otur PoliceStation.

The deceased have been identified as Sidhhant SukhdevBhor (18) of Vikhroli, Mumbai; Abhijit Yande (19) of Ambegaon,Pune; Mayur Dattatreya Gore (18) of Avasari, Pune, and ShivamRajesh, he said.
