Aptech enters into tie-up with Microsoft for learning material
Mumbai, Feb 15 (PTI) Computer education firm, Aptech,today entered into a tie-up with world''s top IT firm Microsoftto launch embedded courses and certification to its students.
Aptech, which has 360 learning centres across Indiaand has presence in 35 countries, will be bearing theadditional costs that come as part of the tie-up and the feesfor the courses offered stay unchanged, its Chief Executiveand Managing Director, Ninad Karpe, told reporters here.
As part of the tie-up, Microsoft''s learning materialwill be embedded into long-term courses offered by Aptechafter which students can appear for a test to get a Microsoftglobal certification which increases his/her chances oflanding a job.
Aptech will introduce the Microsoft course materialand certification across its centres in the country to startwith and gradually take it to select geographies beyond India,Karpe said.
It is targeting to enrol 1,50,000 students as a partof the scheme by 2015, he added.
