Wasnik for mass awareness about civil rights

Jaipur, Feb 14 (PTI) Union Social Justice Minister MukulWasnik today said there is a need to create awareness amongthe people in Rajasthan about their civil rights.

"As per national crime records bureau, Rajasthan is thesecond state after UP with the maximum of cases related toatrocities on common people...hence, it is important to createawareness among people about their civil rights," he said herein a review meeting to access the situation in the state afterimplementation of Civil Rights Act and Scheduled Tribes(prevention of atrocities) Act.

However, he said, the rate of redressal is satisfactoryin the state.
