Three youths charged with dacoity in train arrested
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Three youths, including twoteenagers, were arrested in the capital for their allegedinvolvement in a dacoity in a moving train, police saidtoday.
The arrested have been identified as Sohanveer (23),Omveer (19) and Mobeen Khan (19), all residents of Ghaziabad.
The trio along with four-five of their associates hadallegedly boarded Garib Nawaj Express on February 8 when thetrain departed from Old Delhi and robbed 17 passengers in thegeneral coach.
They decamped with Rs 56,000, five mobile phones andjewellery near Shahdara railway station after threatening thepassengers on knife-point.
The arrests came yesterday following a tip off thatsome of the gang members would assemble at Zakhira and willboard on trains from Sarai Rohilla railway station forcommitting dacoity.
