REA to be implemented in Bihar: Nitish Kumar
Patna, Feb 14 (PTI) Expressing firm resolve toimplement Right to Education Act in Bihar, Chief MinisterNitish Kumar today said action would be taken against theprivate educational institutions if they violate theprovisions for 25 per cent reservation to admission-seekersfrom deprived sections of the society.
"We will strictly implement REA in Bihar. Privateschools which are not adhering to the provisions under the actwill be sternly dealt with," Kumar said on the sidelines ofhis favourite "Janata Darabar Programme".
He said state government would take action if theprivate educational institutions flouted the provision of 25reservation to admission-seekers from deprived sections of thesociety.
