Naturopaths welcomes Govt decision

Kozhikode, Feb 14 (PTI) Naturopaths Association Kerala(NAK) today lauded the Kerala Government for recognisingnaturopath treatment in Kerala.

Speaking to reporters here, Dr M Bhaskaran Nair, aprominent leader of the Association, said that government hadsanctioned registration following their representations to thegovernment.

The association has over 3500 members, he said.

The Government order said those who have passed 3year Diploma in yoga and naturopathy course from MahatmaGandhi University, Kottayam or secured diplomas in Nature Cureand Yogic Science from Akhila Bharathiya Prakritik ChikitsaParishad, New Delhi and Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, New Delhi willalso be approved for giving Provisional ''B'' classregistration, a release circulated at the press meet said.
