Houses for employees at sub-divisional level in HP

Shimla, Feb 13 (PTI) In a bid to persuade employeesto serve in rural areas, the Himachal Pradesh government hasdecided to construct residential accommodation for employeesat the sub-divisional level.

This was announced today by Chief Minister P K Dhumalat a function organised by the NGO Association of the Chambadistrict.

A provision in this regard would be made in nextyear''s budget and contruction of houses for employees wouldstart in a phased manner.

So far residential accommodation is available foremployees in state capital Shimla, district headquarters andsome big sub-divisions.
