Clouded morning, minimum temperature rises in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Clouded sky greeted Delhiiteson the Valentine''s Day morning with chill in the air but thesun came out as the day progressed.
Overcast sky led to increase in minimum temperature asmercury settled at 14.7 degrees Celsius, a deg aboveyesterday''s reading and five notches more than normal.
The MeT office has predicted more rains andthundershowers and the maximum is likely to be in mid 20sagainst yesterday''s 28.8 deg C, which signalled possibility ofan early summer.
Weathermen have also forecast isolated hails andsquall in the national capital.
According to MeT statistics, the record for thehighest maximum for the month of February was 34.1 deg C -- onthe 26th of this month in 2006. The record minimum is 1.6 degC on 9th February, 1982.
