Blackmailed by lover''s husband, man kills himself

Lucknow, Feb 13 (PTI) Caught in the act, filmed andallegedly blackmailed by the husband of his illicit lover, aman committed suicide in Jhansi district, police said today.

Ajay Kumar Yadav (30), who had an alleged illicitrelationship with his tenant Pinki, was allegedly filmed byher husband Bhoopendra, who was blackmailing Yadav, SpecialDG (Law and Order) Brijlal told reporters here.

Yadav had given Rs 80,000 twice to Bhoopendra but hecontinued to demand money form him due to which he allegedlycommitted suicide by hanging himself from ceiling of his housein Tondon Garden area of Jhansi, the officer said.

The police is probing the matter further.
