Three children burnt alive

Patna, Feb 13 (PTI) Three children of a family werecharred to death when a fire broke out in the slums here,police said today.

The fire broke out when a burning kerosene lamp felldown inside a house in Karbigahiya area near Patna junctionlate last night, they said adding the blaze soon engulfed theslums.

The three children of the family who were roastedalive were identified as Raja (9), Badal (8) and Banjat (8).

The inferno was later brought under control as firetenders were pressed into service.
