ViewSonic debuts ViewPad 10 Pro tablet

London, Feb 13: ViewSonic, gadget maker famous for its CRT monitors, liquid crystal displays, projectors, plasma displays etc, has announced the launch of a new 10-inch tablet PC, ViewPad 10 Pro.

The new tablet ViewPad 10 Pro is suitable for both personal and business use. ViewSonic's new tablet can run on either Windows 7 Professional or Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

ViewSonic claimed that ViewPad 10 Pro is one of the first tablets to run on Intel's Oak Trail processor. This tablet supports Adobe Flash and has options of 3G and Wi-Fi. It is expected that ViewPad will get Android Honeycomb update.

ViewPad 10 Pro's touchscreen 10-inch 1024x600 LED backlit display. This tablet will offer at least six hours of battery life. This new tablet will be displayed at 2011 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
