Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that hewould go on a fast from today as Centre is not releasing fundsfor paying compensation to farmers who were hit by extremecold weather.
In an open letter sent to Chouhan last night, Congressgeneral Secretary said that as per his information, the stategovernment has made available to the districts Rs 256 crore sofar; of which less than Rs 100 crore have been disbursed tothe farmers.
