BJP did nothing on bringing blackmoney back: Kaiser
Patna, Feb 12 (PTI) Bihar Congress chief ChoudharyMehboob Ali Kaiser today said erstwhile BJP governments hadtaken no initiatives to bring back the blackmoney stashedin foreign banks.
"The erstwhile governments of saffron party did nothingto bring back the blackmoney... they even failed to write asimple letter to any foreign country in thisconnection", Kaiser told reporters.
He, however, claimed that the Congress-led UPA governmentat the Centre was ''serious'' to bring the black money back fromSwiss and other foreign banks.
Kaiser also lambasted the BJP for allegedly trying toshield its Karnataka and Gujarat Chief Ministers despiteserious charges against them.
Referring to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar''s demand forsecuring special state category to Bihar, he said if the stategovernment was really serious for mobilising investments, itshould have given the tax concessions on the pattern ofthe ones offered by the states like Uttrakhand and HimachalPradesh.
