Teen-aged labourer dies in road mishap
Jajpur(Orissa), Feb 12 (PTI) A teen-aged labourer wasburied alive and another seriously injured after a sand-ladentractor overturned near Baringa in Orissa''s Jajpur districttoday.
The mishap occurred while the loaded vehicle wasapproaching the main road from the Kharasrota river bed afterlifting sand and overturned on a bumpy slope, police said.
The two child labourers who were sitting atop thetractor, fell down and buried under the sand.
Local villagers cleared the sand and rescued the injuredboy, who was shiftd to SCB Medical College Hospital atCuttack.
The driver of the tractor was absconding, the policesaid.
