Minimum temperatures stay above normal in Punjab and Haryana
Chandigarh, Feb 12 (PTI) The minimum temperaturesacross Punjab and Haryana today settled a few notches abovethe normal range.
Chandigarh recorded a low of 10.8 degrees Celsius, upthree notches, the MeT said here.
In Haryana, Hisar registered a minimum of 9.9 deg C,up two notches, while the low at Ambala was 11.2 deg C, threedegrees more than normal.
The low at Gurgaon settled at 10 deg C, up threedegrees, while the low at Karnal was 9.6 deg C, up one degree.
The respective lows at Rohtak and Bhiwani were 9.4 deg C and8.4 deg C.
In Punjab, the low at Ludhiana was 10.9 deg C, up threedegrees, while the low at Amritsar was 9.3 deg C.
The minimum at Patiala settled at 9.4 deg C, up onenotch.
The MeT has forecast not much change in the minimumtemperatures in the two states until tomorrow.
