Cong steers clear of reports linking Pawar with Balwa

New Delhi, Feb 11 (PTI) Congress today steered clearof media reports linking Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar toDB Realty''s Managing Director Shahid Usman Balwa, who has beenarrested by the CBI in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

"I donot think a word like clarification befits this.

You should ask this question to him (Pawar)," partyspokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told reporters when askedwhether the party would like to clarify on the reports.

Pawar has already rubbished reports that Balwa hadstakes in the Dynamix Dairy Industries Limited at Baramati,considered his pocket borough and now the Parliamentaryconstituency of his daughter Supriya Sule.

"As per media reports I have read, he is 32-years-oldand I 70. How can he be my friend and you should understandthis," the NCP leader told reporters. AMR SPG
