Murder most foul in Delhi Railway station

Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 11: New Delhi had already earned the dubious distinction of being India's rape capital with sexual assault and molestations becoming exceedingly common. The presence of a female Chief Minister, in the form of Ms. Sheila Dixit, at the helm of affairs has made the scenario all the more shame-worthy.

However, the following piece of news could be stomach-churning for many. A woman's body was found abandoned in the New Delhi Railway Station, stuffed in a carry bag. This case was brought to the notice of the public when the police authorities received an intimation regarding the presence of an unattended bag lying within the premises of the station.

According to preliminary reports from the police, the woman was aged between 20-22 and her hands were bound. She had injury marks on her body, had a fair complexion and stood 5"2 tall. "We are in the process of identifying the girl. The girl was murdered somewhere else and her body has been abandoned here. We are examining CCTV footage to get some information," a senior police official said.
